โ 200g Hilsa Roe (Ilish Macher Dim) โ 2 tbsp Mustard Seeds (soaked & ground into a paste) โ 2 tbsp Poppy Seeds (soaked & ground into a paste) โ ยฝ cup Grated Coconut โ 2-3 Green Chilies (finely chopped) โ 1 tbsp Mustard Oil โ ยฝ tsp Turmeric Powder โ ยฝ tsp Red Chili Powder (optional) โ Salt to taste
๐น Gently heat the banana leaves over an open flame for a few seconds until they become soft and pliable. ๐น Brush each leaf with mustard oil to prevent sticking.

๐น In a bowl, mix the hilsa roe with mustard paste, poppy seed paste, grated coconut, green chilies, mustard oil, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. ๐น Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes for deeper flavors.
