For Marination:

โœ… 2 tbsp Mustard Seeds (soaked & ground into a paste)

โœ… 2-3 Green Chilies (finely chopped)
โœ… 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
โœ… ยฝ tsp Turmeric Powder
โœ… ยฝ tsp Red Chili Powder (optional)
โœ… Salt to taste

For Wrapping:

โœ… 4 Banana Leaves (cut into square pieces)
โœ… 2 tbsp Mustard Oil (for greasing)
โœ… Thread or Toothpicks (for securing)

๐Ÿ”น Gently heat the banana leaves over an open flame for a few seconds until they become soft and pliable.

๐Ÿ”น In a bowl, mix the hilsa roe with mustard paste, poppy seed paste, grated coconut, green chilies, mustard oil, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
